Great millwork is bought as carefully as it is built. Metro sources lumber, veneers, hardware, glass and stone through a vetted supplier network — with flitch-level veneer selection and long-lead management run against the project schedule.
What this stage covers
- Veneer flitch selection — sequence-matched lots reserved per elevation
- Hardwood lumber graded and acclimatized in our shop
- Hardware procurement scheduled per opening — pivots, slides, closers, locks
- Glass, stone and metal coordinated with fabrication partners
- Long-lead tracking with buyout reports to the GC
- Import coordination when the spec calls for it

Questions
Can you match an existing veneer?
We pull samples from multiple flitches and finish them in our booth for side-by-side approval before committing the lot.
Do you carry FSC options?
Yes — FSC-certified cores and veneers are available where the spec or LEED targets require chain-of-custody.
