Field Measurement
The site is never square. Our drawings know it.
Before fabrication, Metro verifies the field: laser-measured dimensions, scribe conditions, out-of-plumb walls and slab variations captured and fed back into the drawings — so shop-built precision survives contact with the building.
What this stage covers
- Laser measurement and templating of every receiving condition
- Verification visits sequenced to construction milestones
- Scribe, filler and tolerance strategies drawn per condition
- Templates for stone, radius and complex geometry
- Documented field reports back into the drawing set
What you get
Millwork that arrives fitting the building that exists — not the one on the architectural set.
Questions
When do you measure?
At award for existing conditions, and again once framing/drywall define the final openings — fabrication releases only against verified numbers.
